Is it just me that thinks the half point system is well, erm, stupid.

I mean come on, Jenson finishes in 1st, normally 10 point but gets 5 so currently sitting on 15 points for the 2 wins.

Hamilton finishes 7th, normally 2 points but gets one, you see where I’m goin with this, he’s only 14 point behind the current leader instead of the 18 points that he should be, basically a win and a podium would see him back at the top.

No-one thought this through did they, the leaders get compromised while the back of the pack dont.
